ABOUT THE FOUNDATIONNew Harvest Foundation is the only foundation in Dane County, Wisconsin that channels charitable contributions exclusively to organizations working to promote lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ) rights, services, culture, and community development.
Founded in 1984, New Harvest Foundation is operated by a board of directors along with other volunteers. It pools contributions of hundreds of donors each year to provide grant money to LGBT causes. R. Richard (Dick) Wagner, founding leader
We are profoundly saddened by the passing of our founding leader, Dick Wagner. His insight and tireless work to establish New Harvest Foundation resulted in a legacy of 4 decades supporting the LGBTQ+ community through grants. His inspiration has resulted in social change, and has positively impacted hundreds of organizations throughout Wisconsin. He will be missed and we are forever grateful for his courage.
